Police are investigating whether a restaurant robbery in the Loop early
Monday may be related to a recent string of stick-ups across the city.
About 12:50 a.m., a man armed with a handgun announced a robbery at the
Subway restaurant in the 0-100 block of East Washington Street.
The man took several hundred dollars from the restaurant's cash register and
fled the scene before police arrived, police said. No one was injured in the
robbery.
